Associate – Investment Operations

Joseph Andress joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2018 and holds the position of Associate – Investment Operations. His primary responsibilities include operational activities related to the private investments portfolio, audit support, and financial reporting. Mr. Andress earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Auburn University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Travis K. Angevine
Managing Director of Public Markets

Travis Angevine joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2011 and holds the position of Managing Director of Public Markets. His primary responsibilities include developing, sourcing, and executing investment strategies for the Trust’s Public Markets portfolio, which includes Public Equity, Absolute Return, and Fixed Income asset classes.

Mr. Angevine earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Colgate University and his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Charlotte A. Chafin
Receptionist

Charlotte Chafin joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2018 and holds the position of Receptionist. Her primary responsibilities include managing incoming calls, welcoming visitors and performing various administrative duties.

Paige M. Ernst
Senior Associate – Investment Operations

Paige Ernst joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2017 and holds the position of Senior Associate – Investment Operations. Her primary responsibilities include conducting due diligence reviews of existing and potential asset managers and service providers.

Ms. Ernst earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as her master’s degree in accounting from The University of Tennessee. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jeffrey L. French
Managing Director of Public Markets

Jeff French joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2007 and holds the position of Managing Director of Public Markets. His primary responsibilities include developing, sourcing, and executing investment strategies for the Trust’s Public Markets portfolio, which includes Public Equity, Absolute Return, and Fixed Income asset classes.

Mr. French earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Clemson University.

David D. Gonino
President and Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Gonino joined the Trust in 2000 as its Chief Investment Officer. He provides leadership for all aspects of the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust’s operations. Mr. Gonino is responsible for the investment management of the Trust as well as The Nemours Foundation endowment and pension assets, overseeing the asset allocation, portfolio management, risk management and manager selection activities.

Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Gonino was the Treasurer of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he had responsibility for the management of Rensselaer’s various investment portfolios and was responsible for Rensselaer’s capital finance activities and banking relationships.

Mr. Gonino earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the State University of New York at Albany and his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Holden B. Harrell
Senior Analyst

Holden Harrell joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2018 and holds the position of Senior Analyst. His primary responsibilities include portfolio analytics, manager research, and due diligence. Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Harrell worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Harrell earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance from Florida State University.

Holly J. Hensley
Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and the Public Markets team

Holly Hensley joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2009 and holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and the Public Markets team.

Ms. Hensley earned her bachelor’s in elementary education from Rowan College of New Jersey.

Seth M. Heren
Senior Analyst

Mr. Heren joined the Trust in 2017 and currently serves as an Analyst. His primary responsibilities include market research, performance analysis, and portfolio analytics related to the Public and Private Markets investment programs.  Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Heren earned his B.S. in Business Administration – Economics and his Master of International Business from the University of Florida.

Kimberly R. Hickey
Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and the Private Markets team

Kimberly Hickey joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2018 and holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and the Private Markets team. Her primary responsibilities include maintaining the Operations and Private Market team schedules and performing various administrative functions.

Sean A. Kelly
Associate Director of Private Markets

Sean Kelly joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2014 and holds the position of Associate Director of Private Markets. His primary responsibilities include portfolio analytics, manager research, and due diligence.

Mr. Kelly earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Kimberly D. Price
Executive Assistant to the Trustees

Kimberly Price joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2003 and holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Trustees. Her primary responsibilities include managing the Trustee schedules and quarterly meetings, and she coordinates the Trust’s Human Resources functions.

Kara P. Riley
Chief Operating Officer

Kara Riley joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2005 and holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for investment operations, operational due diligence, technology and systems, operational risk management, compliance, and other non-investment related business operations.

Ms. Riley earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Whitney A. Skoglund
Director – Investment Operations

Whitney Skoglund joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2007 and holds the position of Associate Director – Investment Operations. Her primary responsibilities include leading the operations team in its administration and oversight of the Trust’s investments. She also manages the Trust’s financial reporting function.

Ms. Skoglund earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.

David H. Son
Managing Director of Private Markets

David Son joined the Trust in 2018 and serves as Managing Director of Private Markets.  His primary responsibilities include developing, sourcing and executing investment strategies in the areas of buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, real estate and natural resources.  Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Son was Executive Director, OECD Infrastructure Group at JPMorgan Asset Management.  Prior to that, he held the positions of Partner at Spruceview Capital Partners and Director at Commonfund Capital, Inc.  Mr. Son earned a B.A. in Physics from Harvard University and an M.B.A from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

 

Will B. Ten Eyck
Senior Analyst

Will Ten Eyck joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2016 and holds the position of Senior Analyst. His primary responsibilities include portfolio analytics, manager research, and due diligence.

Mr. Ten Eyck earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Central Florida and his master’s degree in finance from the University of Florida.

Carmen R. Warner
Senior Associate – Investment Operations

Carmen Warner joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2011 and holds the position of Senior Associate – Investment Operations. Her primary responsibilities include portfolio administration, audit and tax support, and financial reporting.

Ms. Warner earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southeast Missouri State University and her master’s degree in taxation from the University of Central Florida.

Sean R. Warrington
Director of Private Markets

Sean Warrington joined the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust in 2010 and holds the position of Director of Private Markets. His primary responsibilities include developing, sourcing, and executing investment strategies for the Trust’s Private Markets portfolio, with a primary focus on Private Equity.

Mr. Warrington earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and his MBA from the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
